Great technical explanation, but it does not tell the reader which one out of the 3 multiple files options should be used when you rip a CD, or which option for which circumstance. I assume the author of the article does not pick an option randomly for every CD.

What are the options used for[edit]

Great technical explanation, but it does not tell the reader which one out of the 3 multiple files options should be used when you rip a CD, or which option for which circumstance. I assume the author of the article does not pick an option randomly for every CD.
