Great free [[MP3]] encoder. Seems to be considered the best in the world. Works very well with [[Exact Audio Copy]] to provide probably the best extracting (ripping) and encoding solution available.  Plenty of advanced options, as well as easy to use highly optimised presets.  e.g. use "--preset standard" for excellent audio quality and "perceptual transparency" (i.e. "apparently perfect" audio").
