The HDCD decoder postprocessing service component will decode HDCD data in any 16-bit PCM stream passed through it by supporting inputs, such as CDDA, WAV, FLAC, and WavPack.

Processing may now be disabled by adding a meta tag "HDCD" set to "no". This tag will completely bar instantiation of the decoder, which has the side effect of barring marked files from the scanner.
